Are Dietary Restrictions Helpful to People With Special Needs?

Every October we walk for Autism with my daughter. We’ve tried special dietary restrictions such as gluten free, dairy free and others. Some folks have reported dramatic changes in behavior for children (on and off the spectrum) when they’ve imposed similar restrictions. So far we’ve noticed no changes in behavior with any dietary change. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try. My wife is going to chime in on a related post with some of her findings and real world experiences.
